Jeremy's creative journey started with singing at a small local church in South London from age 6. In 1999, he joined Chichester Cathedral as a choral scholar, going on to become Head Chorister in 2004/2005. During this time he also began composing, with one piece reaching the finals of the Young Composers Competition.

A music scholarship at secondary school is where his love of music technology and production developed. But music wasn't the only focus. Taking lead roles in school musical productions, goalkeeper for the first hockey team, prop in the first rugby team, and throwing discus and shot put at national level. Juggling both athletic and creative pursuits in equal measure. He also joined the National Youth Choir of Great Britain during this period.

 

From there, he studied Electronic Music & Vocal Studies at Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, graduating with a BMus (Hons) in 2016. The Electronic Music course was highly exclusive, accepting only 3 students in 2010, with just 12-15 students across all four years combined. During university he sang with the National Youth Chamber Choir of Great Britain, which brought tours to the USA, paid performances across the UK, appearances at the Royal Albert Hall for BBC Proms, leading workshops, and recording sessions at Abbey Road and Maida Vale studios for film and broadcast productions. He also began what is now a 20+ year involvement with the multi award-winning CHANTAGE Chamber Choir.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jeremy pioneered virtual choir and hybrid performance production techniques through partnerships with Stay At Home Choir (now WorldChoir) and ClassicFM, gaining recognition from the Royal Philharmonic Society in 2020. This work in this field has connected thousands of performers globally through over 50 productions, collaborating with The Swingles, VOCES8, The King's Singers, Sir Karl Jenkins, Sir John Rutter, Marin Alsop and others. That combination of traditional choral training and experimental electronic music has shaped everything since. The technical and the creative. The precise and the exploratory.

After 24 years based in the New Forest, Hampshire, Jeremy relocated to Kincraig in the Cairngorms in March 2025. He works across several connected areas. Professional video and audio production happens through NightOwl Creative, with projects spanning concert recordings, virtual productions, and event coverage for clients internationally. Experimental sound art and installations live under JnfH, with work previously exhibited at Bloomberg Space, Somerset House, and the Barbican. He's also available for freelance camera and sound work on external productions, and continues singing as a bass-baritone with groups including CHANTAGE.

Away from work, cycling takes up a lot of time and energy. Eight years of competitive racing, currently as British Cycling Category 2 with Cairngorm Cycling Club (formerly Sotonia CC and Hargroves CC Race Team). Club champion in multiple disciplines, competing regularly at regional and national level. Time trials, road races, and a lot of evening and night riding on Highland roads in all weathers. Also a keen open water swimmer and STA Open Water Safety qualified.

After some time away to focus on family and personal wellbeing, Jeremy is actively taking on new projects and collaborations for 2025 and beyond.
